Crepes
(Raw Pancakes)

Crepes - Raw Pancakes, Grain free

Picture

Ingredients
10 frozen bananas
4 tablespoons lemon juice

Method
  1. Line the dehydrator trays with grease proof paper or plastic sheets.
  2. Place bananas and lemon juice into a food processor and mix until the mixture looks like a Mr Whippy ice-cream ie aerated/fluffy (air becomes trapped in the banana mixture).
  3. Spoon out the mixture onto the paper or plastic liners.
  4. Put the trays into the dehydrator and monitor until the crepes form.  They should be very light and fluffy.
  5. After approximately 8-12 hours on low heat settings, the crepes should be removed.
  6. Spread with your choice of pancake toppings. eg, raspberries, blueberries, pawpaw jelly, yoghurt, macadamia nuts, activated seeds, nut creams,
  7. Flavourings can be added to the banana mixture.  Instead of lemon, raw carob powder also works well.

Toppings:
Raspberries & macadamia
Pawpaw jelly & homemade hempseed yoghurt
