Juicing - Detoxifying the Liver


If we get that clogged up feeling either from a headache, migraine or in our tummies and want relief fast we find this mixture helps us very much. It is said to detoxify the liver and it seems to really work for us.


Recipe:
We put 8 large carrots, 2 beetroots and 2 large lemons and 2 sticks of celery into the juice extractor and immediately drink the juice. Organic is far superior to sprayed veggies and fruit and indeed the chemical sprays would be concentrated in the juice so we recommend only the use of  organic products..

We have read reports that this recipe causes the liver to detox - dump a lot its toxins and send them out quickly via the bowel.  Sometimes it makes a runny bowel motion but it seems that when that happens we always feel much better.  I think the toxins do go out as my headaches clear up very quickly very often when I drink about 3 glasses of this juice.  It really helps us with mucus drainage from the sinuses too. 


Caution: 
One thing we learned is NOT to take the beetroot juice by itself without the carrot juice as it is so strong it makes us vomit and it burns our throat.  For some reason, when we add the carrot juice, there is no nausea.
