Sushi
(Rice-free)
Sushi can be made with the usual seaweed papers. While most recipes use cooked white/Jasmine rice in sushi, we replace the rice with raw hempseed hearts. To make the hempseed 'sticky' we add a small amount of maple syrup or honey to the hempseed before rolling it onto the seaweed papers. If concerned with blood sugar issues, the hempseed can just be dampened with water, or have some water with chia seeds added to it.
