Cultured Veggie Drink
Ingredients:
1 litre of veggie juice (or make your own as per below)
1-2 tablespoons of coconut sugar (or other sweetener to feed probiotic organisms)
2 capsules of Caruso's Alive Probiotic
Method:
To make 1 litre veggie juice
Ingredients:(to make 1 litre of veggie juice)
2 medium size beetroots
10 large carrots (peeled if not organic)
2 lemons (peeled)

Ingredients:
1 litre of veggie juice (or make your own as per below)
1-2 tablespoons of coconut sugar (or other sweetener to feed probiotic organisms)
2 capsules of Caruso's Alive Probiotic
Method:
- Add the coconut sugar to the veggie juice and stir the mixture.
- Pour the veggie juice into the glass jars.
- Place 1/3 capsule of Caruso's Alive Probiotic into the 7 glass jars.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the glass jars. (Retain any left over mixture in glass jar in the fridge to culture when needed).
- Stir gently.
- Put the lid on the glass jars.
- Place the jars into the Luvelo yoghurt maker (or similar yoghurt maker)
- Check the mixture to see when it has thickened into yoghurt. (Ready to eat when thick - 6 to 8 hours).
- If not eating immediately, store in the fridge.

- Juice the beetroots, carrots and lemon juice and mix together in a large jug (discard the fibre)
Veggie Hempseed Yoghurt
Veggie Hempseed Yoghurt (makes 1.5 litres)
Ingredients:
1 litre veggie juice (or make your own as per below)
1/4 cup pure, filtered water
5 tablespoons raw hemp seed
2 medium size beetroots
10 large carrots (peeled if not organic)
2 lemons (peeled)
1-2 tablespoons coconut sugar (or other sweetener to feed probiotic organisms)
2 capsules Caruso's Alive Probiotic

There are cheaper yoghurt makers but they don't have an automatic timer to switch the heater off.

Method:
If making your own veggie juice,
- Juice the beetroots, carrots and lemon juice and mix together in a large jug (discard the fibre)
- Blend water, coconut sugar and hempseed together (and other optional ingredients if desired) till creamy consistency.
- Mix the veggie juice into the hempseed mixture and stir/blend.
- Pour the liquid mixture into the glass jars. (Retain any left over mixture in glass jar in the fridge to culture when needed).
- Place 1/3 capsule of Caruso's Alive Probiotic into the 7 glass jars.
- Stir gently.
- Put the lid on the glass jars.
