Carobolate Minis
This recipe is a left-over from when we experimented with ketogenic eating. We now do not endorse or recommend the ketogenic eating plan at all, in any way!!!
We do NOT eat Carobolate Minis anymore since we learned of the terrible effects of using extracted and free oils/fats.
Extracted oils cause insulin resistance whether the oils originate from animals or plants, whether they are saturated fats or unsaturated fats and whether the oils are 1st press, virgin or unrefined.
We now use Carob Hempseed Balls instead of Carobolate Minis.

Carobolate Minis
Ingredients:
300ml coconut oil (liquid)
15 g carob powder (7.5 g carbs)
1 g himalayan salt
*optional - 10 g (1 tablespoon) of raw hempseed - 1.4 g carbs)
Method:
Mix all ingredients together well.
Pour all liquid into small 20 ml molds
Place molds in fridge or freezer as preferred.
Makes 20 x 20 ml Carobolate Minis
Each Carobolate Mini contains approx .5 g carbohydrate
If adding hempseed, each Carobolate Mini contains .6 g carbohydrate.
Do your own calculations to be sure!
Note: The carob powder settles to the bottom so that the sweet taste is at the base and the more diluted flavour is at the top of the sweet. More carob powder can be added to distribute the flavour more evenly, but it will increase the carbohydrates dramatically. Carob is 49% carbohydrates!
ONLY EAT THIS FOOD IF YOU WANT TO CAUSE INSULIN RESISTANCE - which we don't recommend!!!
FREE FATS CAUSE INSULIN RESISTANCE!!! THAT INCLUDES VEGETABLE OILS LIKE COCONUT OIL, OLIVE OIL, SESAME OIL AS WELL AS FATS FROM ANIMALS AND FROM YOUR OWN BODY FAT!!!

Carobolates are for when you want something sweet, but you don't want to over do the carbs.
